How to identify fossils
Now that you have found some nice fossils, try to identify them. I will keep adding more pictures to my pages in order to help you in that matter.
This is a very exciting moment for kids and adults as well. Identification is not always easy though. Check out the following picture pages in order to identify your fossils: Wood, Mammals, Reptiles, Fish, Invertebrates.
Fossils that have been legally collected or purchased can also be identified by paleontologists. Contact your nearest Museum of Natural History to check if this service is offered to the public.
